Flikker is a free app that plays the video playlists you already have from your own provider. You add a playlist, and Flikker turns it into live TV with a guide, plus movies and series you can browse and resume.

It is not a streaming service. It sells nothing, includes no channels, and has no ads, no account and no tracking.

From the playlist you add. Flikker provides none. If you do not have a playlist from a provider, there is nothing for Flikker to play.

Open Flikker and choose Xtream Codes. Enter the server address, username and password that your provider gave you, then sign in. Flikker downloads the catalogue to your device. A large one can take a moment the first time. After that, lists open instantly.

Your login stays on your device. Flikker sends it only to the server address you entered.

Most of the time the cause is on the source side.

• The feed may be down at your provider right now.
• Your subscription may allow fewer connections than you are using. Stop playback on other devices and try again.
• Your subscription may have expired.
• Your network may be slow or blocking the stream. Try another network.

If other channels play and one does not, the problem is usually that one feed.

Many playlists carry the same channel more than once. Flikker groups those copies into one row. If the feed you are watching stalls or drops, Flikker switches to the next copy of the same channel by itself, within about two seconds. You do not have to go back and pick another one.

It shows titles and categories in the language you choose and hides the rest. It starts with your device language, and you can change it at any time.

Adult categories are hidden behind a PIN. They stay hidden until the PIN is entered.
